Typical Use
This rake is designed to remove loose undercoat efficiently while protecting the guard hairs from over-stripping.

We recommend rakes for larger dogs as they offer a more ergonomic grip and wider coverage, but they can certainly be used on smaller dogs too. Ultimately, it comes down to what feels most comfortable in your hands.

Best For

• Straight or slightly wavy coats – e.g. Golden Retrievers, Border Collies, Shetland Sheepdogs

• Dense double coats – when you want to work through one layer at a time without shorter teeth catching prematurely

• Finishing work – ensuring the coat lies evenly after de-shedding or line-brushing

• Tidy-up checks – to find any remaining tangles or uneven patches
