Client Portal - Credit Card Details

Please note: We have upgraded our payment platform as of 1st January 2026 and require for credit card details to be re-supplied to us. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Policy: All clients are required to have a valid credit card saved to their profile. A card on file allows us to fairly manage late cancellations, no-shows, and missed payments, helping us keep appointment availability sustainable for all clients.

We understand that providing card details online can feel uncomfortable — especially via links — and we want to reassure you that:

  • Your card details are entered directly into our booking platform’s encrypted payment system

  • Spitz Groom does not see or store your full card number

  • Card details are held securely by our payment provider, not by our team

  • We do not take booking deposits

 

How your card is used

  • A $0.50 pre-authorisation may appear temporarily on your account when saving your card

    • This is automatically refunded

    • It simply confirms the card details are valid

  • Your card will only be charged in the event of:

    • Late cancellation (within 24 hours)

    • No-show

    • Missed payment after an appointment

  • At checkout, you may:

    • Choose to use the card on file, or

    • Pay via another method if preferred

  • For frequent visitors, we can optionally save an authorisation on file to automatically process payment at checkout (by request only)

Step-by-step: adding your card details via our website

  1. Navigate to www.spitzgroom.com.au

  2. From the top menu, select BOOKINGS → Book Now – Existing Clients

  3. Click BOOK NOW (pink button)

  4. Sign in using your mobile number

    • If multiple owners are listed, use the primary caregiver’s mobile number

  5. Select Payment

  6. Select Add Payment Method

  7. Enter your card details and press Save

    • A temporary $0.50 validation charge may appear and will be refunded immediately
