At Spitz Groom, we take a thoughtful, low-stress approach to grooming—and that care starts from the moment you first reach out.

Because we tailor each grooming experience to the individual dog, we ask that all new clients complete our New Client Intake Request Form before booking. This helps us understand your dog’s needs, temperament, coat type, and grooming history so we can make sure we’re the right fit for each other.

 

A Note on Pricing

Before proceeding, please be aware that our pricing reflects the high level of care we provide—this may differ from other grooming salons.

We are unable to offer fixed-price estimates, as grooming needs can vary between visits. Our services are billed at an hourly rate of $115 (incl. GST), and each dog is cared for individually based on their needs.

Why We Use an Intake Process

We’re a fear-free, low-volume salon. This means we take our time with each dog and create a calm, focused environment where they feel safe and supported.

To maintain this standard, we need to ensure:

  • We can meet your dog’s physical and emotional needs

  • Our approach aligns with your expectations

  • Your dog is booked with the most suitable team member

  • You are fully informed about our pricing, philosophy, and grooming process

 


What Happens After You Submit the Form?

  • ✅ You’ll receive a visual confirmation once your form is submitted.

  • 📋 We’ll review your submission when we have availability to welcome new clients (please note we are currently operating on a waitlist basis).

  • 🐕 If we believe we’re a great match, we’ll contact you to discuss further. We may request for you and your dog to attend a complimentary meet & greet or an introductory assessment session.

  • 📞 If we feel we’re not the right fit, or if we need more information, we’ll be in touch to let you know.

From there, we’ll guide you through your dog’s individual grooming plan.
