Making an Appointment

How do I make a grooming appointment?

New clients begin by completing our New Client Intake Request Form. Once we’ve reviewed your dog’s information, we’ll help determine the appropriate service and appointment.

Existing clients can use the self-service booking portal or contact Spitz Groom to arrange their next appointment.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking your dog’s next appointment before leaving the salon, particularly if your dog requires regular grooming.

Regular clients who maintain a consistent grooming schedule generally find it easier to secure their preferred day and time. Many clients also book 12 to 18 months in advance to lock in a regular grooming schedule. The Spitz Groom team will be happy to assist in organising repeat appointments.

Can I book my dog’s next appointment before leaving?

Yes, and we encourage it.

Maintaining a regular grooming schedule is one of the easiest ways to keep your dog’s coat healthy and manageable. It also means you’re less likely to find yourself staring at a very fluffy dog wondering how the next available appointment disappeared. 🐾

Can I change or cancel my appointment?

Yes, but please give us as much notice as possible.

Grooming appointments are reserved specifically for your dog and often involve significant preparation time. Late cancellations and missed appointments can make it difficult for us to offer that time to another client.

Our current cancellation policy applies to all appointments.

What happens if I’m running late?

Please contact us as soon as you know you’re going to be late.

Because grooming appointments are carefully scheduled, arriving late can affect the time available for your dog’s groom and the appointments that follow. A late-arrival fee may apply where the delay significantly affects the appointment.
