When correctly applied, the nail caps generally remain in place for approximately four to six weeks. Individual caps may come away sooner as the nails grow and naturally shed their outer layers.
Important Information
Soft Claws® may not be suitable for dogs who persistently chew or bite at their feet. They should not be applied to injured, inflamed or infected nails without veterinary advice.
Overgrown nails should be trimmed before application to ensure a safe, comfortable fit.
Application Tip
For the best fit and longevity, apply Soft Claws® after a fresh nail trim. Introduce the process gradually using treats, breaks and positive reinforcement, particularly if your dog is sensitive about having their paws handled.
