Soft Claws Application Instructions for Dogs
Soft Claws nail caps and the supplied adhesive are designed to be safe and non-toxic when used as directed. If a nail cap is accidentally swallowed, it should generally pass naturally through the digestive system. If your dog appears unwell or you have any concerns, please contact your veterinarian.
Application Instructions:
-
Trim the nails if needed - Trim only the pointed tip of each nail, taking care not to cut into the quick. Do not shorten the nail unnecessarily to make an incorrectly sized cap fit.
-
Prepare the nail caps - Fill each cap approximately one-third full of the adhesive supplied. Gently distribute the adhesive inside the cap, taking care not to overfill it.
-
Apply the caps - Slide each cap fully onto the nail without allowing the adhesive to contact the dog’s skin, fur or cuticle.
-
Allow the adhesive to set - Keep the dog calm and supervised for at least five minutes after application to allow the adhesive to dry and to ensure the dog is comfortable wearing the caps.
