The world’s oceans hold many amazing creatures with some amazing & intriguing qualities. The health benefits that we can derive from our oceans are incredible. Our mussel is certainly one of these. The most common benefit of consuming our mussels is the high concentration of omega-3 fatty acids. According to the Centre for Genetics, Nutrition and Health, the consumption of omega-3 fatty acids is beneficial in the treatment of inflammatory diseases and autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis. In addition, a study performed by the University of Helsinki in Finland revealed the components of mussels was an effective treatment for chronic pain associated with osteoarthritis in dogs.
Our mussels are dried under our exclusive Nutrieseal® process, the properties of our mussels are not destroyed in anyway. Our whole mussels have not had anything extracted from them except water, in no way are they are bi-product.
